Bodyweight exercises on holidays

When I go on holidays I take no equipment with me except maybe my tennis rackets. It’s easy to make an excuse and go. I can’t exercise whilst on holidays but remember your body is a weight that you can use by doing various bodyweight exercises. Cairns Personal Trainers including my own business.

Fitsense should be able to provide you with an exercise program whilst on holidays so you can continue your regime. Some of the exercise you can include push-ups, squats, planks, lunges, and the list is almost endless, as there is so many variations to all these exercises as well that you need no equipment for.

As a Carins Pt I love the feeling of the end result once I’ve exercised so why would I stop when I’m on holidays?

I’ve had so many people over the years asked me why I still exercise when I’m on holidays and I suppose I’ve answered that above.

Pain resilience

What is pain resilience? Essentially putting up with a bit of pain whilst exercising as a Cairns personal trainer. I have found the clients that have a decent amount of pain resilience get the best results. Discipline certainly helps as well. It’s about having a strong mind and not quitting. When things are a little bit uncomfortable. The body needs a bit of stress whether it’s lifting weights or running till you’re really puffed out to improve your fitness. If you always stay in your comfort zone, then adaptation or change in terms of getting results take a lot longer. Obviously if you have injuries or have a heart condition then you have to adapt the program to suit your condition/health/fitness.

As a Cairns personal trainer I have spoken with many other Cairns Personal trainer‘s and I have admitted that the client can put up with a bit of pain. That is reasonable. Certainly get the best results. With Personal Traning we can lead a horse to the water that we can’t make him drink. You can give people information about diet/Lifestyle and then they have to take some responsibility as we can’t be big brother taught you all the time it will definitely be there to support you through this journey. Instead of thinking of it is pain when you exercise try to recognise that feeling as change instead and visualise would result you want and that helps when putting up with some pain.
