We walked a small section of the Western Arthur Range Traverse, Cradle Mountain, around Freycinet National Park to Wineglass Bay. Most days we walked about 10km -12km in Tasmania. One overnight camp at the Western Arthur Range Traverse, but the weather was too bad to continue as we had 80km winds and it was raining heavily, so we couldn’t continue on that walk due to the risk. The rest were all day walks.
This type of hiking, especially over the holiday period when you’re not doing your usual fitness regime, offers a great cardiovascular workout, and it was also great for us to get off our devices and be in nature, breathing in the fresh air and restoration back to a peaceful mind.
