I became a personal trainer about 18 years ago now. I initially worked in Melbourne for about four years and the rest of the time have been a Cairns personal trainer. We are now looking for people to join the team which are motivators, punctual, have integrity with how they work and love being in a field that can change people’s lives.

Being a Cairns personal trainer in particular being a mobile personal trainer in this region is amazing as the weather is mostly warm and compare to working in the cold climate such as Melbourne.

In my opinion it’s so much more pleasurable.

You get to see amazing sunrises over beautiful beaches And be around our amazing forests whilst working.

I can’t imagine working in an office any more as my office is this beautiful playground.

Eat food

It sounds maybe too simplistic when asking Cairns Personal trainer’s what should I eat? In terms of nutrition and getting the right vitamins and minerals and protein etc into your diet to put it simply it’s best to eat food that you know is food. What I mean by that is if there are words on packet that you don’t recognise them don’t eat it. It does make it difficult because a lot of foods are processed but if you mainly stick to the areas where there are vegetables and meats and forget the rest of the supermarket that’s a good start.

As a Cairns personal trainer I have seen people get quite confused because so much information is out there about diet.

Taking supplements essentially is a waste of time as your body needs the whole food and not just the vitamin C. For example, you’ll get a lot more from eating an orange compare to taking a supplement like vitamin C and sometimes it can be detrimental rather than productive.

Food planning is also extremely beneficial and cooking at home because you know what you’re putting into your own food. Most restaurants put a lot of sugar saturated fats because it might make food taste good, but that doesn’t mean it’s good for you.

And exercise and exercise and exercise.
