Wanting a six pack?

Ramez has been a Cairns Personal trainer for about 18 years, where he’s had similar questions arise from clients on a regular basis.

One of those questions is how do I get a six pack? The six pack isn’t just made by doing crunches and leg raises and those sort of exercises that focus on your abdomen. What you put into your system - your diet - is essential. It’s as simple as this you have your bones your muscles, all your organs including some fat deposits. If you get rid of most of your fat deposits or a substantial amount then you will be able to see the muscle that’s underneath your skin. However if there’s a lot of fat covering that area then you simply won’t be able to see your abdomen and the muscles associated with that area.

As a Cairns Personal trainer, Fitsense Australia will not just organise a training regime for you. We also make suggestions on the type of way you should think about eating to achieve those results. With a Cairns Personal trainer from Fitsense Australia, we make sure that you are accountable because the end result will definitely be worth it when you look in the mirror, and you can see those ripped abs.

What actually is a six-pack?
The moniker “six-pack” comes from its appearance of visible rows of 4–8 distinct muscular segments that you can see on individuals with relatively low body fat. Although many additional important muscles comprise your core, the rectus abdominis is the most superficial one.

Ramez’ 18-year PT history

In the 18 years that I have been a Cairns personal trainer, clients have wanted to improve in numerous ways in terms of their health and fitness.

A few goals that come to mind are weight loss, toning up, increasing muscle mass, increasing energy levels, improving mood and the list just goes on. As a Cairns personal trainer, it is essential for me to address the ‘why’ the person wants to achieve these goals.

During the sessions that can be used as a motivational tool to get someone to achieve more and get the results faster. So much of achieving goals is how you talk to yourself during a session and reminding yourself of why you are putting yourself through a personal training journey. Being a Cairns personal trainer, I do my best to teach people to use such tactics as visualisation. What does that mean? You can visualise whilst doing the session of how you want to look and feel and the things you’ll be doing when you achieve your goals.

Taking holidays

Over the years people have always been surprised that I continue my training whilst on holidays. I find it strange personally when people ask me why would you still train when on holidays? I always answer with saying, why would I stop something that makes my body feel great, including my mind.

You need a little bit of time to recover but to stop completely is nonsensical if something makes you feel good. Why would you then stop it when you take holidays when it will only improve how you feel and your overall experience whilst on holidays.

I’m going to Japan in a few days and will continue to train and do functional training without any equipment so there’s never an excuse to stop just because you don’t have equipment. Your Cairns personal trainer can always write you a program so you can continue whilst on holidays. Fitness isn’t just something that you do from time to time it should be a lifetime. I’ve been a personal trainer for over 18 years, and a personal trainer for 14 years. Spreading my time across Cairns and four years in Melbourne and this whole time I have continued to train whilst on holidays. Even when I’ve gone to the Whitsundays and been on the boat, I have found even a few metres of space to do push-ups, squats, crunches and on the list just goes on.

Consistency

It is absolutely essential if you want to achieve optimum results to train on a regular basis, at least 3 to 4 times a week. As a Cairns personal trainer and having my own business, I ensure that my clients get the results they want to achieve. So, if my clients tell me they want to train once or twice a week I always inform them of the benefits of training more than that.

It comes down to what you value so not spending money on another T-shirt or another dinner out and putting that money to training. Your house is your wealth so spending the money on that is paramount. If you want to be good at what you do and as a Cairns personal trainer, taking someone’s money and training them once a week in my mind won’t get the results. In saying that it’s better to train a few times a week then do nothing.
